MKI, or MKI Miyuki-Zoku, was founded in May 2010 in Leeds, England. Established by creative director Vik Tailor, the idea was to bring a truly groundbreaking concept store to Capital of the North, introducing new labels, new styles, and new look and ethos to the city.
Set to be a hub for the knowledgeable fashion consumer, in an environment that was simultaneously creative and relaxed, the imprint takes pride in working together with and stocking the likes of COMME des GARÇONS, Saint James, and a slew of other hyped brands. Additionally, there is a large emphasis on their own label, which boasts an American-Japanese aesthetic that is all the rage these days.
Focusing on accessibility, wearability, and of course, affordability, MKI is becoming a giant in the streetwear industry. Utilising simple and clean colour palettes such as black, white, grey, and pink, the Leeds based brand produces nothing but must cop staples.
