Travis Scott has collided with Australian label Ksubi for a fire collection, but what more would you expect from La Flame.

Scott sat down with Vogue to discuss his latest foray into fashion and opens up about what drove him to make this latest Ksubi collection.

“That shit is dope. Dumb crazy. It makes you feel like you’re in an action movie,” says the “Butterfly Effect” artist. “Certain brands cater to the culture … Sometimes clothes make it through generations of artists, and it’s just because the designer is designing to the time and the culture. That’s what I think is dope about brands [like Ksubi]: It’s dope when a brand can captivate what’s going on with kids—it’s not out of touch. With or without me.”

Travis Scott and Ksubi’s collaborative run is comprised of ten pieces; destroyed denim and clothes that “hang off the body like if Batman went health-goth” make up the entirety of the first drop. “Distressed jeans are a sign you’ve been through some sh*t, more so than a clean jean,” explains Scott. “I just wanted to keep it Texas culture—just real simple. Ready-to-wear dope sh*t.”

No confirmed release date as of yet but expect there to be serious hype around this collection. Keep it locked to Above The Sole for all of the best news and releases from the sneaker community.
