Not everyone is fortunate enough to be able to see their grails in person. For those of you who live in places where the streetwear scene is pretty much dead, Instagram is an essential tool for you to scout your next cops.
Not only do IG-ers post photos of their latest pick ups, there’s also an abundance of outfit shots too, which let people see what pieces actually look like when they’re worn. With all that said, we’ve made it our duty to find the top five outfit shots on Instagram which beautifully showcase some of the most hyped apparel available right now.
Vivian Frank’s IG feed is pretty much what the cool kids would call ‘aesthetic goals’. Boasting one of the largest and most varied wardrobes in the game, Vivian isn’t afraid to flex some of the world’s most exclusive pieces. In this outfit shot, he’s wearing a black BAPE Shark hoodie, a Supreme x Louis Vuitton Danube messenger bag, a pair of ripped Yves Saint Laurent jeans, and of course, the Off White x Nike Air Jordan 1.
Regarded by many as the U.K.’s biggest hypebeast, Ari Petrou sure knows how to flex. With a massive arsenal of Off-White, BAPE, VLONE, and of course, Supreme, Ari has one of the most varied and vibrant collections in the industry. Here, he’s flexing a clean Supreme Box Logo tee, a Supreme x The North Face bag, a pair of Gucci pants, and to top it all off, one of the latest sneakers to come out of Kanye West’s creative mind, the adidas Yeezy Calabasas Powerphase.
Featuring on websites such as Hypebeast, Highsnobiety, SSENSE, and VICE, the fourteen-year-old Leo Mandella, or Gully Guy Leo as he prefers to be called, is a major player in the streetwear game. Supreme, Palace, Gosha – if you can cop it, then the Gully Guy probably has it. With more Instagram followers than the population of Barbados, Leo is taking the fashion world by storm. In this shot, he’s wearing a Supreme x Scarface sweater up top and he’s showing Off-White some more love with the collaborative Jordans on feet.
Founder of FREoffical and FRE Customs, Steven Vasilev has been featured prominently on websites such as Hypebeast, Hypebae, Highsnobiety, and even Business Insider and Forbes. A student at the University of York, Steven has truly made a name for himself in the streetwear business, and his immense popularity is only gaining pace. Painted all over in Louis Vuitton x Supreme, including a pair of custom LV Nike Air Force 1s and a mask which resembles the Hollow mask from the popular manga Bleach, this takes outfit shots to the next level.
And last but not least, meet Samuel Bowler, a sneaker and streetwear photographer based in London. He might not have as big of a following as the other four in this list, but boy, is he killing it. Dressed from top to bottom in Fear of God, Samuel tops it all off with a pair of monochrome Vans slip ons.
