There’s really no stopping BAPE. After opening its first Paris store at the end of last year, which also happened to be its second European outpost, the Japanese streetwear imprint has just opened the doors to a 2,500 square foot store on Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles.
Making its first territory on the West Coast, the interior is designed with a formation of a triangular “X Barrisol” architectural ceiling. Spanning two floors, complete with granite marble walls, a fleet of 1ST CAMO Mercedes Benz G-Wagons guard the entrance.
To celebrate the opening of its Los Angeles flagship, BAPE has unveiled an LA exclusive capsule that features tees, hoodies, caps, and accessories on timeless designs. Moreover, a special BAPE x Mastermind Japan collaboration will also launch, which includes a parka, snowboard jacket, souvenir jacket, shorts, and more.
In related news, Dover Street Market has taken to Instagram to tease the opening of its Beijing flagship, and today, the store has officially opened its doors, just in time for the city’s Chinese New Year celebrations on February 16th. Be sure to click here for further details!
