It looks like Supreme and Levi’s aren’t the only ones doing the collaborative overalls and trucker jacket thing, as fellow streetwear imprint Stüssy has partnered with Lee for a similar project done up in a muted yet versatile colour palette.
The cotton canvas collection encompasses a pair of overalls and trucker jackets. Offered in desaturated red and black colourways, the set blends Lee’s heritage designs with Stüssy’s laid back, California skater aesthetic. Elements typical of hardwearing goods are intact, including a carpenter’s hammer loop and bib pockets on the overalls and adjustable buttons on the jackets.
In terms of branding, understated stitched Stüssy’s iconic signature motif is stitched on the left chest region, whilst the classic ‘Lee UNION MADE’ patch is embroidered on the front pocket of the overalls. Slated to drop on November 10th at Stüssy’s Japanese stores, webstore and ZOZOTOWN, the collection retails for approximately $165 (£125) for the overalls and $200 (£150) for the jacket.
