After literally just unveiling a winter ready collection with Champion, Stüssy and Tetsu Nishiyama’s FORTY PERCENTS AGAINST RIGHTS have teamed up on a collaborative capsule collection, debuted at a Shinjuku pop-up hosted by NO.813.
Without a shadow of a doubt, the pièce de résistance of the drop is the military parka which brings together the best of both brands. Featuring a curious misspelling of the latter brand’s name on the rear alongside Stüssy branding and a QR code, the oversized piece takes cues from both brand’s design ethos. Incorporating both Stüssy’s playful branding and FPAR’s reinterpreted military style, the outerwear serves as a bridge between both brands.
A few details that you may have missed include the embroidered elements on the right arm, the lower left seam, and above the right front pocket. Drawstrings, snap buttons, raglan sleeves and two large pockets on the front of the coat ensure that it stands out from ordinary military inspired gear. Be sure to keep it locked at Above The Sole for more pieces to come!
