Established back in 1997, streetwear giant Mastermind World has kept a relatively low key profile since its inception two decades ago. Designer Masaaki Homma has built an entire brand around the famed skull and bones motif, and the only thing harder than information on the brand to get ahold of is the actual clothing itself.
Today, Mastermind World have begun teasing their latest collection in the lead-up to Spring/Summer 2018. Highlighting darker tones with a bright red contrasts, the range is comprised of streetwear staples such as coach jackets, military shirts, hoodies and T-shirts, all emblazoned with Mastermind’s signature skull and crossbones motif.
It goes without saying that the hype around these mysterious images has exploded, with many streetwear enthusiasts getting ready to cop at the drop of a hat. However, this isn’t really that surprising, considering even Chanel’s head designer and creative director Karl Lagerfeld is a big fan of the streetwear brand.
