Established back in 1997, streetwear giant Mastermind Japan has kept a relatively low key profile since its inception two decades ago. Designer Masaaki Homma has built an entire brand around the famed skull and bones motif, and the only thing harder than information on the brand to get ahold of is the actual clothing itself.
Now, after literally just unveiling a Los Angeles exclusive collection with BAPE, Mastermind Japan has tapped the creative minds of Carhartt WIP for a limited edition capsule. Dressed in black and gold hues, the collection features snowboarding jackets and pants, complete with gold embroidery, alongside a long sleeve crewneck layer donning large white branding around the back.
If you’re thinking of copping anything from the Mastermind Japan x Carhartt WIP collection, it is available now exclusively at Mastermind Japan stores. In related news, MMJ recently took to Instagram to reveal a collaboration with none other than Anti Social Social Club. Titled ‘Get Weird‘, the Japanese imprint has teased just one item of the collection. Click here for more info!
