London brand maharishi has seen it’s stock slowly grow over the past few years and it shows no sign of letting up. With a serious influence in the streetwear scene now, everyone should be sitting up and paying attention to this brand.

The FW17 collection is inspired by a range of sources, varying from 18th-century Japan to Vietnam in the 1960s, with a particular focus being placed on indigenous groups such as the Ainu in Hokkaido and the Montagnards of the Vietnamese Central Highlands. This can be seen in the pieces like the ponchos and kimonos, further reinforced by the use of Japanese artwork and illustrations.

maharishi’s Fall/Winter 2017 lookbook also displays the brand’s seasonal camouflage named “DPM: British Haze.” This camo is made up of two-colours and created to mimic spray paint. This latest innovative camo comes in Desert, Woodland, Night, and the US Airforce-inspired “Skyline Ghost” colourways.
