Japanese brand Hender Scheme is renowned for its premium leather products. Most recently, the imprint teamed up with adidas Originals for a sneaker collaboration like no other. Now, Hender Scheme have set their sights on Casio’s G-SHOCK watch division to produce an exclusive variation of the brand’s iconic DW-5600 model
Whilst the watch’s signature design remains untouched, it is painted in a subtle beige shade which has simple sophistication written all over it. What makes this particular timepiece so special is the hand sewn leather band, which is made through a process known as “pit tanning“.
Other notable features of the DW-5600 are its shock-resistant properties, and water resistance up to twenty metres. If you’re planning to cop the Hender Scheme x Casio G-SHOCK DW-5600, they’ll be available on January 3rd at Hender Scheme’s online shop and select retailers in Japan.
In other watch news, last month, adidas Originals unveiled the NMD inspired Archive CM1 Watch. Painted in a matte finish, it is complemented by a pair of red and blue buttons that resemble the EVA plugs present on the ever-so-popular NMD. Click here for more info!
