Helmut Lang Unveils The 'Taxi Project' Capsule Collection

Austrian fashion designer Helmut Lang has officially unveiled his latest capsule, dubbed the ‘Taxi Project‘. Known for his game-changing moves, Lang was the first fashion designer to ever advertise on top of New York City’s iconic yellow taxis in 1998, and in order to pay homage to this moment, the brand has dropped a batch of new advertisements on 275 taxis around the Big Apple.

To add to this, Lang has also created a set of limited edition pieces in the form of a t-shirt and hoodie, all using an archival image shot by Iain R. Webb that was originally from the book Postcards From The Edge Of The Catwalk. If you’re thinking of copping any items from Helmut Lang’s ‘Taxi Project’, the capsule is now available from the brand’s webstore, as well as select retailers.
