With Chinese New Year literally just around the corner, contemporary fashion retailer HBX has teamed up with Mastermind WORLD, Stone Island, as well as fragment design for a trio of lucky red pockets to ring in the new year with style.
In Chinese culture, red pockets are a symbol of luck, fortune, and prosperity, and they are traditionally given to relatives, especially children, and filled with either money or sweet treats. This practice originated way back in the Qin Dynasty, almost 1800 years ago.
If you’re thinking of getting yourself a pack of red pockets, then here’s how. In the weeks leading up to the Lunar celebrations, HBX will include a pack of six with every in-app purchase over $200 USD. Each pack will feature one design displaying branding from either Mastermind WORLD, Stone Island or fragment design, selected at random.
