Without a shadow of a doubt, Gucci has been one of the most hyped brands of recent memory. Once a brand dedicated to producing bland leather bags for middle aged business women, the Italian imprint now effortlessly blends high fashion with swanky streetwear, and now, they’ve been named as one of fashion month’s “buzziest” brands, according to Instagram.
The photo and video sharing platform has released the figures for the most popular shows at each of the four major fashion weeks, as Alessandro Michele’s label tops the list for Milan Fashion Week. Also in the Milan top five is Prada, Fendi, Versace and Moschino. For London Fashion Week, Christopher Bailey’s last ever collection for Burberry came in at top of the list, beating off competition from Richard Quinn and Christopher Kane. In New York, the buzziest show was from Tom Ford, coming just above Raf Simons’ third collection for Calvin Klein. Finally, Chanel topped the list at Paris Fashion Week, with Dior coming in second and Louis Vuitton in third.
Gucci was also crowned the most search fashion brand on Google last year. Be sure to click here to check out who else made it on the list!
