Gosha Rubchinskiy may be the most in demand designer on the planet right now. With successful collabs with adidas already selling out this year, you would forgive him for slowing down. His latest venture is with Russian band Mumiy Troll who are a real influence upon the designer.
The band was important to Ruchinskiy himself, with his youth in the ’90s soundtracked by Mumiy Troll’s music. Last month officially marked 20 years since the band’s cult album Morskaya (which translates as “Nautical”) first released.
This latest collection features an oversized sweater along with 2 T-shirts, all of which have prominent dual branding. Gosha has stuck with the nautical theme with the customised surfboard that is used across the shoot.
The capsule is set to drop on September 15 at Dover Street Market in London. Prices for the collection range from £38 to £86. Keep it locked to Above The Sole for all of the best news and release from the streetwear community.
