Today, Japanese brands BAPE and WTAPS have unveiled one of their first collabs for almost a decade. Heavily influenced by military aesthetics, the capsule makes use of versions of BAPE’s iconic camo print. Consisting of two jackets – a military overshirt and a BAPE camouflage print coat – as well as a hoodie, cargo pants, track pants, and a t-shirt, the collection is perfect for the colder months ahead.
If you’re thinking of copping, the BAPE x WTAPS Fall/Winter 2017 collection will launch at an exclusive pop up in the Shinjuku Isetan department store from November 15th until November 28th. The capsule will then release at retailers including Dover Street Market Ginza on December 2nd.
As well as collaborating with WTAPS, BAPE recently teamed up with the famous Dutch brewing company Heineken for a limited edition capsule. Comprised of four pieces, including a half-zip pullover Shark hoodie, a 1ST CAMO coach jacket, a t-shirt, and a six-pack bottle carrier complete with co-branding, the collection is a must cop for any streetwear enthusiast out there.
