The adidas Originals by Alexander Wang Season 2 collection arrived in New York over the weekend and it may well be one of the best delivery systems that we have seen. Along with the initial release we also got a glimpse at some of the pieces that should be available to a wider audience soon.
So let’s dive into how this product was launched. Wang and the German sportswear giants plastered NYC with numerous posters and billboards showcasing a phone number as well as a product code. Rather than a traditional in store release, the brand decided to let the customers text what they wanted to buy. All orders placed on the 29th of July will then be hand delivered by bike messengers decked out in the collaborative gear.
Anyway, moving on from the dope release idea, let’s look at the pieces themselves. The theme of the collab is a mixture of rave and biking, who knew these 2 worlds collided. For us the short and jumper tracksuit is an insta cop. An upside down tre-foil logo and a bold graphic print is always an exceptional look.
