After unveiling three brand new colourways of the up and coming Dior Runner, Dior Homme’s artistic director Kris Van Assche has taken to Instagram to tease a preview of a collaboration between the French luxury imprint and Bogarde.
According to a recent report by the Business Of Fashion, the Belgian fashion designer and the Parisian bike company will launch a $3,200 BMX bike at the Sole DXB Streetwear Festival between December 7th and 9th.
The Dubai based festival will be the first to showcase one of the three designs before an available-upon-request release at select Dior Homme boutique stores. Accented with Dior’s iconic logo, the chrome tinted bike will also be available in black and red colourways.
With only seventy bikes available, the combination of street culture with tailored, minimal, and monochromatic designs may become a signature look for the brand. In related news, Dior has been crowned the most popular brand on Instagram this year, beating Louis Vuitton, Saint Laurent, and Balenciaga, who ranked third, fourth, and sixth respectively.
