Back in March, Casio G-SHOCK unveiled the ‘Full Metal’ collection. Reworking its classic GMW-B5000 model in silver and gold colourways, the Japanese watchmaker has now added two new hues to its luxe range.
Releasing in a stealthy all-black shade and an updated gold edition, both timepieces feature the same square-shaped bezel and brick-patterned face, 42.88 mm diameter impact-resistant, stainless steel case and bracelet, and a Haze-designed logo backplate.
An updated design detail is the new negative STN LCD display, which presents white digits on a black background. The battery-powered quartz movement can recharge via Tough Solar, while a Multi-Band 6 atomic timekeeping and Bluetooth connectivity provide precise automatic time calibration.
The new Casio G-SHOCK GMW-B5000 ‘Full Metal’ watches will release sometime in November at G-SHOCK’s web store and select retailers. In related news, Ralph Lauren recently teased the Polo Bear Watch Collection.
