BAPE's Latest Outerwear Piece Is Inspired By Japanese Hanten Jackets

Following up on its collaborations with Mastermind Japan and Dover Street Market, BAPE has returned with a new outerwear piece which was inspired by the traditional Japanese hanten jacket.

Sporting wide, cropped sleeves and a collarless design stadium jacket-like hems, the jacket is offered in navy satin and features embroidery throughout with stylised BAPE branding accenting a front pocket and the back’s contrasting Dark Ape detailing. “World Gone Mad” and “1993 to 2093” detailing is present around the neck too.

Available now at BAPE’s webstore, let us know what you think of the piece in the comments section below. In related news, BAPE has also just opened their Los Angeles flagship. Making its first territory on the West Coast, the interior is designed with a formation of a triangular “X Barrisol” architectural ceiling. Spanning two floors, complete with granite marble walls, a fleet of 1ST CAMO Mercedes Benz G-Wagons guard the entrance. Click here for more info!
