BAPE And Starter Black Label Team Up To Revive The Classic Pullover Hoodie Jacket

Back in the ’90s, pretty much everyone wanted the Starter Pullover Hoodie Jacket. It was literally all that anyone could speak of, and now Japanese streetwear imprint BAPE has teamed up with Starter Black Label to bring back the iconic staple.

The panelled nylon jacket comes in a black and white colourway, with BAPE’s iconic 1ST CAMO camouflage pattern featured throughout the body, inside the hood, and around the neck line of the jacket. It would not be the icon it is without the big Starter logo zip pull, hanging on the half zip just above the chest pocket of the jacket.

To accompany this piece, a white T-shirt and snapback cap round up the classic capsule collection. If you’re planning to cop any of the three items from the BAPE x Starter Black Label collab, they’re slated to drop on January 6th at BAPE stores around the globe. What do you think of this release? Does it do the original piece any justice? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below!
