Just a few days ago, Porter announced a technical bag collection with Italian clothing brand Stone Island. The collection consists of Porter’s backpack, duffle, and portfolio bags which have been reworked in a Nylon Metal Black Watro fabric, with a rip-stop design that references the Stone Island House Check pattern. Today, the Japanese brand has flown back to its hometown to join forces with none other than BAPE.
The capsule makes use of two different variations of BAPE’s iconic camo print, displayed across a number of Porter’s signature bag iterations. The release from the two brands see a number of previously seen styled, including the sling bags from Spring/Summer 2017, as well as a swanky new rucksack.
This piece, dubbed the 1ST CAMO Union Rucksack, is described by the brands as being a perfect record bag for a DJ, featuring a protective cushioning material and a design that can definitely withstand everyday use. The BAPE x Porter 1ST CAMO bag collection is slated to drop on October 28th at their respective web stores as well as selected stockists.
