Following up on its collaborations with Mastermind Japan and Dover Street Market, BAPE has updated its classic Shark Hoodie Jacket with WINDSTOPPER fabric, executing the streetwear staple in its recognisable 1ST CAMO motif.
Featuring the iconic Ape Head pattern throughout the full-length zip up hoodie, Shark detailing, “WGM” embroidery, and tiger prints appear on the hood. Unlike other recent BAPE hoodie drops however, this one boasts a WINDSTOPPER infused fabric that allows for extra protection against chilly breezes, granting the comfy staple with an extra layer of warmth.
Confirming the functionality, a “GORE WINDSTOPPER” tag appears on the outseam of the hoodie, while a small Ape Head seen on the zipper pull adds an extra level of brand awareness. Slated to drop on February 24th at BAPE’s web store and stockists, let us know what you think of the piece in the comments section below.
In related news, BAPE has also just opened their Los Angeles flagship. Making its first territory on the West Coast, the interior is designed with a formation of a triangular “X Barrisol” architectural ceiling. Spanning two floors, complete with granite marble walls, a fleet of 1ST CAMO Mercedes Benz G-Wagons guard the entrance. Click here for more info!
