Just yesterday, BAPE unveiled a very special 10th anniversary collection for its flagship store located in Shibuya, Tokyo, and now the Japanese streetwear imprint is dropping two extra cosy varsity jackets just in time for the cold autumn months.
Decked out in the imprint’s iconic gorilla head and STA motifs, the number ‘93‘ is present along the lower left of the pieces, representing the year A Bathing Ape was officially founded. Bold striping can be seen on the cuffs, collar, as well as on the hem, and if you look closely, the signature BAPE tag is knitted just beside the bottom two buttons, reminding you that what you’re wearing is a limited edition piece.
Two colourways will drop as part of the collection, including an understated tan edition and an ultra fire red version. It’s safe to say that no matter which one you wear, you’ll definitely turn heads this autumn season. Releasing on October 7th at BAPE locations around the world and online, be prepared to take an L, as these are expected to sell out pretty much immediately.
In related news, rumours have been flooding in stating that BAPE could be teaming up with Supreme for a high profile collaboration which is apparently set to drop next year. If you want to find out more, be sure to click here.
