Since 2010, Louis Vuitton has partnered with FIFA to create the travel case for the World Cup trophy. For this year’s tournament in Russia, the Parisian fashion label has turned things up a notch by presenting an entire leather goods collection.
Inspired by the official match ball of the 1970 FIFA World Cup, the capsule comprises of variations of Keepall and Apollo bags, as well as a selection of smaller leather items. The majority of the styles are offered in three colourways, each constructed from Louis Vuitton’s iconic Epi leather.
Reminiscent of the classic football, the featured hexagon design is based on LV’s historic savoir-faire, with each colour hexagon boasting a textured feel. A more exclusive “Made-to-Order” Keepall is also showcased in eight pentagon hues, associated with the colours of almost any national flag.
