High Fashion Supreme Collaborations That Could Be In The Works

Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the past few months, you’d know that the Supreme x Louis Vuitton drop was the biggest collaboration since peanut butter and jelly. A sign that streetwear has officially broken through to the establishment, we’ve been left wondering who the skateboard shop will be teaming up with for their next high fashion drop.

It seems like everyday, a rumour pops up stating that a new luxury Supreme collab is in the works, that being said, we’ve compiled a list of the top three rumours that could, in fact, turn out to be true.

Burberry

According to Instagram account @bape_drop, Supreme could be teaming up with British luxury fashion house Burberry for a full apparel collection for Spring/Summer 2018. Back in 1997, Supreme released a T-shirt with a Burberry-inspired Box Logo, however, the source made it clear that this would be an actual collaboration, and “not a rip off design”. It’s safe to assume that Burberry’s distinctive check pattern will feature heavily here, and we’re beyond hyped.

Dolce & Gabbana

Last month, Stefano Gabbana, co-founder of Italian fashion label Dolce & Gabbana, reposted several images on Instagram, teasing a possible collaboration with Supreme. Re-sharing a post from the Instagram account @boxlogosupreme, which read “Just signed off on earlier this week, Supreme will be collaborating with Dolce and Gabbana for the Fall/Winter 2018 season. Expect a nice collection with multiple pieces priced at the normal high-end range.”, Gabbana also re-shared posts from a few other sources too, so this collab is sort of confirmed.

If Instagram account @dropsbyjay is right, Supreme could be teaming up with none other than Rolex very soon for a watch and apparel collection. As you may already know, back in 2013, the two companies actually collaborated for a limited edition Supreme x Rolex Submariner, of which only twenty were made for a price point between £7000 and £9000 each. The pieces later ended up on the resell market for a cool £40,000. Watch this space.
