After revealing its ‘Dan Les Rues’ Pre-Fall 2018 campaign which pays homage to the 1960s counterculture, Gucci has partnered with Spanish artist Ignasi Monreal for a new collection. Dubbed #GucciHallucination, the capsule comprises of nine sweatshirts and nine tees, each featuring a digital artwork by Monreal for the Spring/Summer 2018 campaign.
Extremely limited, with only 200 of each T-shirt design and 100 of each sweatshirt being produced, all of the pieces will come with a numbered label, as well as custom packaging featuring artwork by Monreal. In addition to launching the capsule, Gucci and Monreal have worked together to produce an art wall in East London, the first of its kind in the U.K. following previous installations in New York and Milan.
